Who are we? 

We are a small four-person ministry that develops and provides vital Christian resources for faith formation and outreach to individuals, congregations, and community members. We provide bulletin inserts and faith discussion cards based on the Revised Common Lectionary.

We also provide milestone event recognition modules and shorter moments as well as publish and provide church leadership books to help and guide individuals and church leadership with faith formation. All our products are produced locally in the United States, and our internet store currently provides resources to customers in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, South Africa, and Norway.

What do we do?

We create and publish leadership guides and resource materials to assist development of faith formation in the home, congregation, and community. All our efforts affirm a conviction that a healthy church is a church that practices faith at home.

When did we start doing this?

In April 2014 Vibrant Faith Ministries chose to pursue more of a leadership consulting based ministry and decided to spin off the Milestones Ministry portion of their ministry into its own separate ministry. After some quick and hectic planning, Milestones Ministry, LLC was established on 1 August 2014 in the State of West Virginia. Former Vibrant Faith Ministries staff member, the Rev. Dr. David W. Anderson, and Associate for Vibrant Faith Ministries, Deborah A. Streicher, were working on revising and updating an existing Milestones Manual at the time. David has authored several leadership books available in our store. Debbie has hands-on experience working on staff in a congregation with a focus on faith in the home. And both David and Debbie have coached and done consulting for many years with congregations across the United States, in Australia, and in Canada.They became the Co-Directors and coerced their recently retired spouses to join them in maintaining and growing this new fledgling ministry.

Where are we?

Our company is located in scenic and beautiful West Virginia just south of Cumberland, Maryland. Our office is located in the basement of Burt and Debbie Streicher’s home. David and Gloria Anderson live in Roseville, Minnesota which is a lovely suburb of St. Paul.

How are we accomplishing what we do?

We believe that Milestones Ministry provides an essential congregational tool for faith formation and outreach in the twenty-first century. For the home, Milestones Ministry nurtures the Christian faith, strengthens relationships, and creates the kind of bond that promotes meaningful memories for years to come. We provide down-loadable files, CDs, discussion cards, stones and bowls, printed products, and church leadership books, coaching, and presentations.
