I want something for family devotions for the confirmation class and their parents. Do you have something to replace Scripture Talk now that it is out of print.
Are you familiar with Taking Faith Home?
It is a weekly devotional that includes the Four Keys for practicing faith:
Caring Conversations, Devotions, Service, and Rituals and Traditions.
This would be a good resource for youth and parents for confirmation and can be either sent via email or printed for families.
Years ago, I was a member of Oswego Presbyterian Church in Illinois. Since, moving away, I still get announcements and a section called, “Take Faith Home.” Being busy, as most people are, I never noticed that these great ideas, inspiration came from your organization until this morning. So, I am just writing to say, “Thanks! Great job!” Be blessed.
Please Help! I used to be in full time ministry and used a resource that had parents and kids meet 2-3 weeks to learn a topic together, usually based around the small catchism, and then have a celebration in worship. I since then have lost that resource and can’t remember the name either. This goes back to Youth and Family Institute days. Does any of you know the name of that resource or how to get one’s hands on it?
Andrew,
I think you may be thinking of the Child and Youth Milestones Ministry Manual.
Each one can be done over a period of two or three weeks and ends with a blessing during worship.
These were redesigned about 6 or 7 years ago and now available individually or as all 18 in the manual.

I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Blessings, Debbie Streicher
I greet you with the peace of the Lord. I would like to inquire about the material of milestones. As a pastor in Korea, I think the materials developed by milestones will be very helpful to the Korean church. I would like to ask if there is an official process and possibility to translate the materials of child & youth milestones and adult milestones into Korean. Thank you so much for developing and supplying valuable materials and resources. God bless you and your ministry.
Pastor Hyoung Shin,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us and affirming our ministry. At this time, we do not have the process and finances available to translate our resources into other languages. Blessings in your ministry.
Thank you for your kind answer. I understand that at this time you do not have an official process and finances for translation into other languages. I would like to ask if there is any possibility that a church or institution in Korea will translate some materials and pay a copyright fee for them. I pray for your ministry.
Pastor Hyoung Shin,
Could you please send your email address to info@milestonesministry.org and include information about the name of your congregation and location? We look forward to connecting with you. Thank you.
