NCCL (National Community of Catechetical Leaders) Project: Parents and Families at the Center of Faith Formation
This Christian Parenting & Caregiver Initiative, funded by Lilly Endowment Inc., connects NCCL directly with 200 Catholic parishes in 20 cohorts across the United States. Their mission is to engage over 30,000 Catholic parents and their families by exploring how to strengthen faith transmission at home in the first two decades of life. These efforts inform the creation of parish communities that intentionally accompany and support parents, caregivers, and the whole family in catechesis.
Milestones Ministry has been working with the John Roberto, Executive Director, and the consultants for the project within the NCCL Parenting Project developing Milestone Moments for parishes. Milestones Ministry has also helped translate all the Milestones into Spanish.
